Job Description
The PWI Systems group is seeking an experienced and talented Tech lead to help lead a development team with designing and building next generation mobile solutions for use across Workplace Investing (PWI) application suites.
This individual will be expected to work closely with application owners, PWI Architecture and business sponsors to gather requirements, create technical designs and implement the solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate is an expert on server and client-side application development using Java web technologies.
The successful candidate will be expected to be a part of the WS Fidelity Benefits Marketplace team in India and would be responsible for working as a Technical Lead.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for deployment and delivery to meet budget, scope and timeline goals.
Work with business sponsor to understand requirements and then develop system and technical designs.
Act as a liaison between the Systems Analyst and developers to produce solutions.
Ensure code is maintainable, scalable, built for ease of use, and performs optimally.
Developing and testing across multiple browsers and platforms.
Troubleshoot problems and work with peer teams to resolve.
Provides estimates and feasibility of features. Work with project managers to plan projects and coordinate development activities
Responsible for post-installation issues and problem solving. Provides application support for key applications; may serve as on call resources to support the organizations service and escalation model.
